NetCloak is an add-on tool for Mac OS-based Web servers that lets you create dynamic HTML pages. NetCloak runs in conjunction with your Web server software and allows you to improve security, simplify site development and maintenance, and control exactly how a page looks to an individual client.

With NetCloak, you can create HTML documents that change every time they are viewed by a client. You will be able to show and hide portions of your HTML documents using a variety of different criteria, as well as add dynamic information to your pages. NetCloak is simply the best way to set your Web site apart from all the others on the Web.

Here are just a few of the hundreds of possible things you can do with NetCloak:

• Display random graphic banners or text
• Create "Jump To" navigational pop-ups
• Hide links from people outside your intranet
• Easily add counters to any or all of your pages
• Control search engine Web crawlers
• Dynamically insert information into a Web page
• Customize content or formatting for Mac or Windows
• Automatically redirect users accessing obsolete pages
• Automatically insert the date each page was last updated
• Maintain headers and footers for your entire site in one file

NetCloak also lets you insert a variety of information into your documents, including the user's TCP/IP address, browser, username and more. You can also use NetCloak to create macros for text used repeatedly on your Web pages, making them easy to create and maintain.

NetCloak does all this with minimal effect on the performance of your server by giving you:

1. Configurable document caching.
2. Configurable security and logging options.
3. Selective cloaking of only the documents you choose.
4. Plug-In operation on WebSTAR API-compliant servers.

There is also a Professional edition of NetCloak which includes all the features of NetCloak Standard edition, and adds powerful forms-processing and e-mail features for professional webmasters. NetCloak Pro can take data from HTML forms and use it to automatically:

• Create new HTML pages.
• Insert text or HTML into existing pages.
• Store data in tab-delimited text files for later processing by virtually any application (including databases, spreadsheets and text-processors).
• Send e-mail messages.

In addition, using Mail Actions, NetCloak Pro can perform all of these same tasks in response to mail messages received by any e-mail address.
